Yeah, that's what i thought too.. but i was always under the impression that the NT-1 also used the same core block system as any other RX78s... not to mention, both units were used to test mobility in some way or the other... sometimes i always wonder how that corefighter cockpit turns into a 360 degree one in ZZ too (^.^;;;

Apart from the GP-01 having a Core fighter, I think the Linear cockpit would be useful for the faster response time of Newtypes, for which the NT-1 was built for.

This may have been discussed here before, but why does the RX78 NT-1, made in 0080, have the 360 degree cameras, while the RX78 GP01 has the old style RX78-1,2 cockpit?
