hmmm...we seem to have a few gm custom's lying around
here in local stores. heck, i have 2 unbuilt gm
customs (good as new), and i could trade one to you
for the mg gelgoog. :) i personally prefer the gm
quel (the custom shoulders are nice, but don't look
flush with the design).

burke's mecha domain. 0080 had new designs by yutaka
izubuchi (iirc) and the gang -- zaku f/z, rick dom II,
gelgoog jaeger, as well as the gm's. the zeon mechs
all take off from the 0079 designs, with slight
alterations to the proportions for keeping up with
more modern aesthetics, and more technical doo-dads
for added realism.

to me, the only mech to look good and cool straight
out of 0079, without freshening up and technicalizing,
is the dom.
