Heh, some of the older kits really surprised me. I just dug up a 1/100 FAZZ
kit that I must have picked up years ago. Of course, now I know how it's
SUPPOSED to look, at the time I merely thought it odd that the kit was
mostly gray and (shudder) pale green.
Let's just say, if it weren't for the fact that most of it has been glued
together, I'd be redoing the whole paint job on it. I still might.
As a side note, does anyone know WHY the kits were done like that? (ugly
colored plastic, I mean?)
