Anime Explosion on the Big Screen
Orlando, FL, 01/22/01
Orlando anime club Anime Gaijin America with the Loew's Cineplex at
Universal's City Walk announces Anime Explosion, a monthly screenings of
Japanese animation on their biggest screen. Starting on Friday February 16
at Midnight there will be showings on the third Friday of each month. The
showings are free and so is parking at City Walk after 6:00 pm.
The first showing will be Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz, the very popular sequel
to the Gundam Wing television series. Prior to running the evenings
selection there will be an anime based trivia contest and a Cosplay event
with prizes to be awarded.
Selections for future showings will be based partly on audience polling at
this first event.
