I am surprised at the brittleness of your hip joints. Mine are just fine, they
are made from a PVC type plastic, and are QUITE sturdy. Are you sure you have
a real BanDai kit?
As to the foot, they just recycled the foot from the standard RX-79(G) Gundam.
