Speaking of this excellent film, which I kinda saw (dubbed) at a loud
party last week, was Eboshi also the name of the prince's (Ashitaka?) old
tribe? I also noticed that the "wise woman" at the beginning of the film
wore a necklace and earrings similar to San's (and, possibly, a head band).
Was there a connection meant to be made between the two? Also, do I believe
I remember correctly that the prince decapitated a samurai with an arrow,
and disarmed (literally) another warrior with the same. If so, is it, Z,
really possible to do those things with fast enough arrows of normal size,
or were the arrows also effected by the demon (as well as the hands that
