The original title of "Barefoot Gen" is "Hadashi no Gen", it is a manga (not
a novel) of Keiji Nakazawa, it should be in 4 volumes (4 quite big volumes,
more than 250 pages each) and there are at least two films of animation
(Hadashi no Gen and Hadashi no Gen 2). I don't know telling you other about
