The corruption of everything that the White Base and the Federation worked for during the OYW is the creation of the Titans. This element makes Zeta Gundam (at least to me) one of the better G's in the series. Tomino has something with that corrupt government thesis, because it is necesarilly true. The fact that Gundam is set in this setting makes it a very interesting watch because its like watching fantastic (but very human) characters in a fantastic (but also very human) ssetting. The mix of ideal heroism in a field of inherent corruption and constraints make Gundam different from other hero stories (not implying that it may not be a hero story at all) Anyway, aside from Arislan, can you guys name other Anime with these kinds of themes?
