er...well, quite right. feddies are indeed the lesser
evil, but are still...'evil' (word used with caution)
in themselves. compared to the zeon antagonism, that
makes the feds the obligatory good guys only in the
nominal sense, but not in actuality, when we cut it
down to the finer details (like maybe the 0083
federation inspired shenanigans).

how about the earth feddie treatment of the space
colonies and other people they forcefully shipped to
outer space prior to the war? certainly not as
drastic as colony drops or gas attacks, but no less a
form of abuse.
