ehrm...i believe i also ranted about the mech designs
and racism in g gundam. something about racial
stereotypes and archetypes. (apologies to eddie ju
for ragging him that time).
i think the mech designs in g gundam...suck ass like
nothing can (for lack of more expressive words :P)
because they stereotype (ignorantly, and
unartistically at that) many countries. but to
dislike g gundam because of godawful designs would be
depriving yourself of a neat story.
why point out how g gundam is racist for having a
japanese hero? american shows have americans for
heroes (and i don't complain that chinese are often
the nominal bland bad guys).
