Not really. While Mirai is a confirmed (though weak) Newtype, Bright's own
latent Newtype powers do not surface until much later. Secondly, they are
very good at what they do, Newtypes or no. I would write a longer
explanation here but I'm very tired now, so sorry. ^_^
