you have a point there; the 0080 kits were very good indeed; in fact, prior
to the Dom tropen HGUC release, the 0080 series had the best 1/144 plastic injection
kit of the Rick Dom (or any dom variant, excuse me). However, there are other
problems in the line. The Zaku FZ is by far the best of the series, followed
closely by the two GM types, and then the Dom. BUT, the two losers of the line
are the Kampfer (bad proportions) and the Gelgoog-J (bad hip joints). The Hygog
and the Zugok are okay, though the inherent problems of plastic on plastic joints
are quite obvious with these kits.
Well, that's what I remember anyway.
If I wanted to rage against the dying of the light, I would have brought a
flashlight.
