ugh! perish the thought!
no, they don't abandon their suits in favor of the
shuffle suits (or bandai wouldn't be able to sell the
5 main gundam mobile fighters). fortunately too. the
shuffle suits kinda remind me of the zany bound doc
and then some mech designs of z, zz, and v. :P
the shuffle mechs per se are really just there to
provide the original shuffle alliance with their own
customized mechs (you know the drill when it comes to
mecha shows and bandai).
it's been a while since i watched g gundam, so i may
be mistaken (or grossly simplifying things) -- the
shuffle alliance basically function as the
superfriends/justice
league/ubersuperdupersentaitaskforce of the g gundam
universe. master asia was a member of the team, till
he turned rotten.
