Here's something I noticed about the hairstyles of the main characters from
all the Gundam series:
Mobile Suit Gundam (1979-1980)
Amuro Ray: Mushy, typical 70's look
Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam (1985-1986)
Camille Vidan: Amuro-look-alike, hair a bit longer and manageable.
Mobile Suit Gundam Double Zeta (1986-1987)
Judo Ashita: Amuro style, with longer hair to cover his forhead.
Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket (1989)
Al: typical kid look, wears hat
Mobile Suit Gundam F91 (1991)
Seabook Arno: nothing stands out.
Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory (1991-1992)
Kou Uraki: looks 19 and acts like 9, felt in love with a older woman (Nina,
21)
Mobile Suit Victory Gundam (1993-1994)
haven't seen it yet
Mobile Fighter G Gundam (1994-1995)
Domon Kashu: typical gangster look!
New Mobile Report Gundam Wing (1995-1996)
Heero Yuy: bad boy look
Duo: girly look
WuFei: killer look
Quatre: n-sync look
Trowa: defies gravity!
Zeches: what kind of shampoo he uses?!
After War Gundam X (1996)
Garrod Ran: looks like Duo minus the yard-long braided ponytail.
Jamil Neat: Retro!
Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team (1996-1999)
Shiro Amada: definitely the coolest hair yet!
Turn A Gundam (1999-2000)
Loran Seack: the boy who looks like a girl
it seems to me the hairstyle trend in Gundam series is going for the "vogue"
and "bad" direction. I wonder what kinds of hair the casts of G-savior would
have...
