I thought there'd been enough posts about For The Barrel that everyone on the
list was aware of it. FTB is an updated retelling of the the original Gundam
story, apparently sanctioned by Tomino, that's been profiled in Newtype Magazine
since September. "Machining Skins" take the place of Mobile Suits, characters
have been redesigned (although they seem more like those in the Tomino novels
than any we've seen in the anime) and the ship is now the White Base Class
Pegasus instead of the Pegasus Class White Base, but FTB claims to be true to
the source.

Here are the two items that've appeared in Newtype so far.

That's not quite what I said, which was that Jovian He3 was much easier to
acquire.

There's plenty of He3 on the Moon and most colonization schemes depend on our
sooner or later making use of it, but in the long term -- colonization of the
Solar system, not just the Moon -- the outer planets are a more abundant source.
