I think they'll like the OAVs. I'm counting on those OAVs to keep Gundam
momentum strong until Zeta Gundam, which pretty much has Wing level
animation quality.
Plus, there IS hope. I know quite a few ex-wing fans who saw U.C Gundam-the
original movies, mind you-and promptly rejected Wing. Just look at the
Gundam Lounge and Gundamshop boards. It's all about UC!
In fact, everybody was going crazy about the Sazabi that was a prize at
Gundamshop.
The Newsgroups are fairly insignificant, I believe.
Like Mark and Probe, I respect Gundam Wing to an extent, but don't think
it's the greatest. In fact, I have gone onto a bunch of anime and Gundam
message boards and put up educational posts about Gundam series outside of
Wing, and for the most part the posts have been well accepted. I've also
used the Mecha Domain as a resource to post pics of Gundams outside of Wing.
Overall, I think what I've been doing has had a positive impact on U.C
Gundam. In fact, I'm working on a web page which will point out the various
Gundam series, although at this point it's no Gundamproject.

Question, do you think the original Gundam series would do well on US TV???
Would you defend this series to a new Gundam fan bashing the UC series
having not even see them?

Okay, this would be the thread you started with the title "Listen. I am
