I'm quite pleased with Tamiya's line of acrylic paint, since I have easy
access to the whole line and I can get them for a reasonable price. Other
people prefer Testors, and others go for Gunze Sangyo.
They're all probably equally good, so just try and find some line in the
colors you want you can acquire easily and go with that.
This is assuming you'redoing brush painting, of course ... for
airbrushing, I have no clue =P
As for painting tips, find the link to The Newtype Asylum (URL escapes me
at the moment ... hit the link to wingzero in my sig, check my gundam
links page, its there) and then check out his modelling links ... I found
all kinds of neat sites with useful tips there...
