    Actually, it got outdate by almost 1/4 of the way. L-Gaim was built
mostly from Daba Mylord's, the main character, family knowledge on building
HM (their term for the robot). L-Gaim Mk-II was based on L-Gaim, but it
wasn't build by Daba. However, it is the most unique HM in the whole series
because it's the only HM that has a fatima onboard (yes, the same fatima
from Five Star Stories, but the fatima never made an appearance or even
mentioned, yet you can see it during the second opening song).

    The story itself isn't bad, but the fight scenes aren't as well done as
the Gundam series. Probably below average among the "realistic science
fiction"...

    L-Gaim is really an acquired taste. Unlike Five Star Stories, which had
much better robots (meaning they look nicer), but the story is a nightmare
to follow.
