NT requirement is to just move the MS. Like Psycho Gundam, Bound Doc
utilized Psycommu Control System, that allows Enhanced Human pilots (I have
never seen a natural Newtype piloting one of these thing) direct interface
with the mobile suit. This allows for faster reaction time, and other
Newtype oddity. When Camille first faced off against Psycho Gundam in Hong
Kong, his beam rifle shots were deflected by a fully empowered Four Murasame
powering up Psycho Gundam with her Psychowave. We also see later example of
this in ZZ Gundam with the cases of Mashma Serro powerup his Zaku III Custom
and Chara Soon powering up her Geymarck, and both exhibited instance when
they deflected beam rifle shots.

The downside of these wonderful Psycommu Control System is the sheer
Psychowave requirement. One normal pilot attempt to pilot Psycho Gundam and
almost got his brain fried by it. Enhanced Human seemed to have more
powerful Newtype power, but then, they have a tendacy of going psycho.
Gyunei Gass of Char's Neo Zeon in CCA seemed to be the only recorded stable
Enhanced Human, and he got bagged by Amuro with a trick.

I assumed he got enhanced. Otherwise, he would have gotten his brain fried.
