Did you watch Zeta Gundam? Char asked Amuro why Amuro didn't go to space
anymore, is it because he's afraid of seeing Lalah or something along the
lines of that. If Lalah is really "there" to talk to him, wouldn't she talk
to Amuro while he's suffering by himself in all those years on Earth?

I like to think of it that Amuro use part of his subsonscience and it
"acts" as Lalah...
