Indeed, the Psycho-Frame is composed of microchips used to pick up the pilot's
brainwave. Yet I clearly remember that during the discussion I mentioned, the
notion of brain cells rejecting "the implant" did surface. Moreover, the slide
show that the three of them go through seems to depict microscopic devices placed
between cell-like, living objects. All these point to a possibility of Amuro
going through an implantative surgery.
