Um... these microchips are in the mobile suit, not in Amuro's head. The
Nu Gundam's internal frame is packed with these microscopic psycommu
transcievers, hence the term "psyco-frame". The T-shaped device that
Chein totes around is a sample of the same material.
No surgery for Amuro, in other words.
