Well, this might contain a bit of a spoiler so I would leave some space
for people who want to watch Gundam X "fresh"
In the last episodes of X, they clearly said that there was only one
"real" Newtype - and that's Dome, whom the Garod and company met on the
moon. All of rest of the so-called Newtypes are basically "freaks of
nature", even Tifa's power. They are just using the "Newtype" as a term for
people with some amazing "powers".
