It might. I'd be inclined to try soaking it in enamel thinner and scrubbing
with an old toothbrush first. But hey, if the kit's half dead already, what
have you got to loose? Actually, some diligent sanding can smooth out that
primer too, provided that it hasn't filled in all the recessed details.
