Yup. That's why they HAVE varaiable speed beam rifles. They can launch
megaparticles at variable speeds for variable results including greater
damage or "punch through". I didn't make it up. It's in F-91. They needed
some way to justify a mobile suit with two flip-around guns attached to it's
back(It looks cool for the model-kit but why have it ?). So they were
"special" guns.
Don't worry...it's only a matter of time before a UC show comes out shows us
a "new" barrier that can't be penetrated by a VSBR. :)
