Better take that linguist's coat off again. Japanese _does_ have a "ch"
sound - i.e. "chi", similar to the "shi" used to make "sh-" compunds.
"Chi" + "ya" = "Cha", "Shi" + "ya" = "Sha". Mr. Aznable's name uses the
latter, so it's pronounced just like his namesake, French crooner Charles
Aznavour.
