While the Alex's beam rifle is similar to a FA-MAS, it's not simply a scaled
up version. The FA-MAS is a bullpup type weapon (one with magizine aft of
the handgrip) while the Alex's beam rifle has a conventional layout
(magizine forward of the handgrip).
