The big boxes are the model kits. The carded figure is the 4.5 inch action
figure. MSiA's are also about 4.5 inches tall. Bandai America and Bandai
Japan basically function separately, at least that's the way it seems.
Remember, anything can change from this years Toy Fair to the time the figs
are released. Packaging can be easily changed. It makes no sense for Bandai
to make US only figures, when all they have to do is just put the MSiA's in a
smaller, US blister card.
