For myself, I have over 75 unbuilt kits. And about 25 built ones; out of
the 25, only around 10 I would consider good enough for model competitions.

As for cost; My most expensive kit is my 1/72 Nu-Gundam for $475. My best
find was an original 1/144 Qubeley by Wave, the guy had no idea what it was
worth and was selling it for $40.00, I snatched it up as soon as I saw the
price.

Subject: [gundam] Gundam Collecting?

I'm wondering where Gundam fits in all of this. With more than 20 years of
Gundam, there is a bigger repository of designs than Transformers, and a
great variety of toys, model kits, HCM, etc, variety isn't a limiting
factor. Furthermore, prices aren't ridiculous either (compared to the other
2 examples). So what would you consider to be the "Average" size of a
Gundam collection?
