Yes if you use Media Player that comes with autoupdate,
if you have an AVI player that just eats raw CODEC then
go to this site, and it will have a link as well as more info.

I had to get the unrestricted CODEC as I wanted to make
an MPEG out of the files... my encoder wouldn't do it until
I got the fix from that site.
