If you look at the pics Chieng Ting Chin put up at the Newtype Assylum site, you
can see that what you are saying is not very practical! : )

If it was a human sized weapon the 'blade' itself would only be about 7 or 8
inches long and the aura extends the appearance of the blade to 3+feet.
