Not sure which die cast you were thinking about - in 1/144, the latest
Kado Senshi chogokin toy (4,500 yen, ultra posable) is pricy but excellent.
Then there's also the reissued Popy chogokin toy which retailed for about
8,000 yen I believe, proportions and details aren't as nice as the Kado
Senshi, but they get off charging a lot of money from nostalgic people.
Then there's also the 3-pack diecast made by Popy, much smaller than 1/144
(probably 1/250 or smaller) and are pre-painted. I think the set is
Gundam, Char's Zaku II, and Dom. These pop up on eBay every once in a while.
There's also the recently released Nano Chogokin toys, which aren't pre-
painted and requires assembly (comes with mini screwdrivers too). I think
they go for about 1,980 yen or so. I think most online toy stores (Image
Anime, Just Be Toys, and NG Toys) have them already.
As for MicroGundams... don't expect to see them anywhere. For some reason
they don't appear as frequently on eBay like the MS in Action of MS in Pocket
toys. Incidentally, I happen to have one on eBay now (shameless plug again!):
