VSBR Stands for Variable Speed Beam Rifle and its ...what it says :P

Basically, you can make the the beam go fast and narrow /slow and wide and
you can get different effects based on this.

If its Fast and Narrow, you get maximum penatration while sacrificing
Damage, so you can pierce Beam Shields with it!
If you go for the wide/slow varient, you get the opposite effect; a slower,
yet more damaging beam.

And despite what it says, its not really a rifle (correct me if I'm wrong)
since its usually directly connected to the MS's main
reactor (its a power hog)

As for the shadows....I _think_ its part of that wacky Bio-Computer thingy
:P
