This depends on how much work you want to put in. For an honest-to-goodness
paintjob, you need to work on sanding off the seam lines (where the two
parts come together) - this requires gluing - and then paint over the
entire surface. Actually priming the entire kit before painting requires
even more work but is a good idea if you are planning to paint over the
entire kit.

If you just want to do a superficial, passable paintjob, simply paint the
area that was not molded in the right colors (you decide whether to use
stickers if any are provided, or paint the area you could have stickered)
and then use GundamMarkers to detail the panel lines.
