Low supply & high demand results in a pricy kit. That's generally the way
things are for Gundam kits in Asia outside of Japan. Here in the U.S. the
stores just stay at a fixed price unless they are overstocked for a long
time.

What? If you are talking about the MG kits, they were both 2,500 yens.

The fan created "MG" Dom that had a B&W photo in an issue fro HJ earlier
this year had better proportions and detail designs IMHO...
