after numerous replies...my reply is

I did say 'questionable'. I must admit I did not put much thought into that
part of the post so I can not really add to the arguement. I simply just
recall someone mentioning it some time last year. If it make Char's character
less appealling, then, good, he's a Newtype and a creep.
