Well, I have the original kit and its beam sabers are two chopsticks. The
new one's saber appears to be the curved, sharp-tipped version, so it looks
like a mucho improved version (although at 300 yen I doubt they'd put much
effort into it...) but the finished photo looks like this new version has
some of the panel lines from the PG and MG kits.
