Anime expos is pleased to announce the attendance of Mr. Yataka Izubuchi as
a Guest of Honor. Mr. Izubuchi is best-known in the
United States as the
mechanical designer for the various PATLABOR series
and the Gundam series,
including GUNDAM ZZ, GUNDAM 0080: WAR IN THE POCKET,
and movie CHAR'S
COUNTERATTACK. He also worked on GUNDAM WING, but not
as a mechancial
designer; he is credited as assisting in costume
design. In addition, he
has also done the original illustrations for RECORD OF
LODOSS WAR. This
past year, he was mechanical designer for the
television series GASARAKI.
He is also currently working on the PATLABOR XIII film.
