You don't need to wait for the movie to come out to find out about the
story. The novelization is already out on hardcover. For those who
find reading too time consuming or taxing, head down to your local toy
store and pick up the picture books.

The story's already out. The only reason to go to the film is to see
 all the cool special effects.

I disagree with you for the simple reason that all of the books are just
translations of Lucas's original vision which is the film. To truly
experience the Phantom Menace, you need to see the Original Undiluted vision
as projected on the screen bu the man himself. Maybe some people will cave
in to the hype and want to know everything right away, but the best place to
experience it for the first time is in the theatre.
