There is no details and there is no particular scale. It's a
scratchbuilding exercise and it depends entirely on what you want to do.
For example on my 8MST GM I intend to cut out the inset visor area with
exactos (and elbow grease) and replace it with a similarly-curved bit of
florescent transparent plastic from a pen-casing glued on from behind.
That's it. You're going to have to experiment and find out what works for
you. If this works then I'm going to try and make a custom GM out of my
gundam Mk.II the same way.
