Sounds like X-Files paranoia. If this took place in WWII, the WB crew,
Amuro included, would be war heroes who probably end up as politicians
running for office or enjoy their celebrity...

If everybody knows who Amuro is (witness references to him in other series,
such as 0080) it doesn't seem likely that the Feds would be able to cover
things up this completely.
