  They've been discrete, and.. they have the technology the Feds want.
It's a lose-lose situation for the Fed unfortunately!

  Heh heh, well, in fact, I think CCA was Anaheim's "Last Stand". After
that, SNRI takes over as the Fed's main MS producer if I remember
correctly. Besides Anaheim could simply state that they were providing
Doga MS as "Colony Guard" Robots and not combat-weapons, that the Sazabi
was a "Personal Vehicle", etc.
  The fact of the matter is companies get away with this sort of thing all
the time in RL (though usually it doesn't involve destroying the Earth!)
