Gundam and Canadian Politics

Not too long ago a post was made here concerning the physical
similarities of the GP03 Dendrobium and the PM of a certain company that
had a dendrobium flower named after her... In the same vein, there is a
curious character similarity of a character in Gundam and one in the
history of Canadian politics.

In the first Gundam movie, there is a particular scene where ol' Amuro
is searching for his mom, (coincidentally?) in Canada. At one point,
Amuro confronts some particularly brash Fed soldiers. Observe one
soldier in particular from the following screen grabs:

Memorize that face. Now, take a look at the following, particularly
well-known Canadian politician, who served as Canada's Prime Minister
from 1968-79 and 1980-84:

This is former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau! Incidentally, he was known
as being a particularly heavy-handed PM, notable for declaring the
Canadian equivalent of martial law in Quebec during the FLQ terrorist
crisis of 1970, and being responsible for the exponential increase of
the national debt in the late 70s and early 80s. And he looks uncannily
like this nasty Fed soldier. Decide for yourself what this means, but in
my opinion...

Coincidence? I think not.
